Sorry are civilians carpet-bombed in america? Are they throwing white phosphorus at your family? How can you play the victim lmao
There's that story about a boy who cried "wolf".
Unless you literally mean "being put in camps", you shouldn't use this as a metaphor for less dangerous events.
Also ... why do you even think it would be better otherwise. A reminder - the other mainstream option was that party that didn't even care about picking a popular enough candidate. Almost a kingdom inside the nation. They literally imitated Idiocracy, thinking that'll be popular.
Anyway, as someone in Russia - I both appreciate that you over there still have some democracy and wish for you to see the fake parts of it as early as possible.
"Democrats talking about how they totally have to keep backing a genocide, bombing kids, torturing innocent people, screwing over their voter-base, voting the way their rich donors tell them to, in order to win elections"
"Trans people in the US who are 1 electoral loss away from being put in camps"
Fixed that for you
FWIW I agree with you. Anyone who abstains from voting because neither side perfectly aligns with their own politics is an idiot and, in a first past the post system like the USA, actively helping the party that they most disagree with.
