Their entire would view is based on delusion. Sometimes the cognitive dissonance is so great, it'll give them whiplash. But it won't change anything. They'll come up with some new bullshit to paper over the cracks in the old bullshit.

It’s ironic how these people can draw the wildest connections (cheese pizza is mentioned once in a leaked email -> pizzagate pedophile ring!!), but ignore the most obvious connections because it’s too inconvenient for them.
