"Start a business" almost certainly means "Buy into an MLM scam."

[–] The_v@lemmy.world 15 points 7 hours ago

Don't forget the standard "Use Mommy and Daddies money to buy an existing small business." Then run it into the ground.

"It's not an MLM when you are at the top"

Selling Scentsy

Please Lord, let this be deranged fetish content rather than whatever the alternative would be. 🙏😔

Hustle culture is a deranged fetish.

[–] Venus_Ziegenfalle@piefed.social 13 points 8 hours ago

This employee is such a toilet, they are constantly spouting shit.

There is a time and a place where it is appropriate to post pictures of yourself using the head. It’s called niche pornography on OnlyFans or PornHub, not LinkedIn.

[–] pickman_model@sh.itjust.works 3 points 6 hours ago

You know? At my workplace colleagues love talking about the building urinals. Some claim to have been able to make eye contact with people at their desks while refreshing themselves. Maybe that fetish belongs in LinkedIn?

OF doesn't allow that anymore.

This is how you get hemorrhoids.

[–] tordenflesk@lemmy.world 11 points 8 hours ago (1 children)

This how you discover you already got them.

[–] taco@piefed.social 11 points 8 hours ago

Also how everyone on the Teams call discovers you've got them.

Sets the tripod.
Checks the lightning isn't too good.
Sets the timer.
Fails the first photo bcs pants, laptop, and positioning took too long.
Sets the timer again, this time by waddling to the phone.

"Omg, no, why would you take that picture, don't you see I'm grinding!! You don't get it, we are not the same."

Makes a LinkedIn post.
Adds a shitty pun about shit.

pooping photo

just keep pushing through. (No pun intended)

Classy all around. Hope she's on a Teams call with her camera and microphone on and making all of her employees incredibly uncomfortable.

[–] pleasestopasking@reddthat.com 4 points 1 hour ago (1 children)

Let's be real "starting a business" probably means she sells essential oils in an MLM

[–] kryptonianCodeMonkey@lemmy.world 1 points 40 minutes ago* (last edited 34 minutes ago)

Replace "employees" with "downline" then

[–] fartographer@lemmy.world 16 points 9 hours ago

This advice is crap

[–] NatakuNox@lemmy.world 13 points 6 hours ago (1 children)

All this is probably how she justifies paying her employees below a living wage and resourcing her materials from slave labor. And looking at this dumb persons surroundings. I'd be shocked if she actually worked more than 200 days a year.

[–] DosDude@retrolemmy.com 8 points 6 hours ago (1 children)

Honestly. No one should have to work more than 200 days a year. Reality is unfortunately different in a lot of places. But working more is usually not good for your health.

[–] NatakuNox@lemmy.world 3 points 6 hours ago

Oh agree. I'm just over individuals who clearly have tons of luxury compared to 95% of humanity act like their lives are hard and they deserve to pay people less.

[–] cheeseburger@lemmy.ca 8 points 2 hours ago

Looking at this picture still makes me horny. I mean wistful! It makes me wistful!

[–] samus12345@sh.itjust.works 4 points 22 minutes ago

She definitely has shit particles all over that laptop.
