Can we not do the body shaming bullshit?

How someone looks has nothing to do with their moral character. Can we fucking please stop reinforcing that notion?

Tate is a dirt bag for a plethora of reasons. Attack those instead.

Him looking like an unfuckable chud when his entire reputation is based on talking shit about peak alpha male blah blah blah is less making fun of his appearance and more using his appearance as a fulcrum to make fun of his hypocrisy, imo

[–] ftbd@feddit.org 7 points 2 days ago

I completely agree with your point – yet it is somehow ironic to see him like this after all the 'alpha' stuff he spews

You grow a beard because you're insecure about your weak chin.

I grow a beard because I'm lazy.

We are not the same.

I grow mine because I have very very very thick hair. Shaving causes issues so I am rocking my Barbarossa.

Gollum, if he was a sex offender.

[–] Ilovethebomb@sh.itjust.works 10 points 3 days ago

Fuck that's accurate.

Lordy, that was a punch to the gut. A little painful, but very accurately stated. Please take my up-vote.

Some bald rapist.

[–] Tollana1234567@lemmy.today 7 points 3 days ago (1 children)

all that trt made him bald, possibly impotent.

[–] Etterra@discuss.online 6 points 3 days ago

Pathetic. My hair is thinning out because I inherited it from my dad.

Johnny wasn’t the best human, but I’d take him over Taint any day of the week.

I'm not very familiar with the man or the artist. What did he do wrong?

I used to be in the confident in my masculinity category. Then I realized it eas actually the gives no fucks about my masculinity category.

Then I noticed everything that was once manly is now just adult, Also our public officials and law enforcement don't do any of it throwing their power about willy nilly.

(I grew up in the cold war. It was uncouth to throw power about willy nilly. ☢️)

Now our masculine examples are Ben Shapiro, Matt Walsh, Joe Rogan...

Donald Trump...

A few years back I turned in my man card. I am no man. (Which may mean I could kill the Witch King of Angmar, or maybe MacBeth.)

I relinquish power as toxic. I've long deliberated my way to marxism, to naturalist philosophy, to community centered society, to liberty, and to grieving the imminent end of civilization, possibly of our species, due to our hubris.

I'd argue that none of these people are men. Just as stupid people often try to pretend to be what they think a smart person is, these spineless cowards pretend to be what they think a strong man is, but actually have no idea.

[–] uriel238@lemmy.blahaj.zone 5 points 2 days ago

Yet, they have huge followings. There are plenty of dudes who happen to be men who serve better examples, but they just happen to identify as men or are assumed to be by default. The models they offer have little to do with their manhood.

[–] logicbomb@lemmy.world 3 points 3 days ago

There is no reason to put these two people up as a comparison. They have nothing in common, except that they are two people that the author thought of.

International liberation and post-capitalist economics are two of my special intrests :3

(Granted im not a man, and im also not straight)
