If only that would do something. It's good he's at least going through the motions, but I'm doubtful this will do anything more than generate headlines. Then again maybe a miracle will occur and Trump will have pissed off enough Republicans to make this actually stick.

- No hate speech, slurs, celebrating death, advocating violence, or abusive language. This will result in a ban. Usernames containing racist, or inappropriate slurs will be banned without warning
We ask that the users report any comment or post that violate the rules, to use critical thinking when reading, posting or commenting. Users that post off-topic spam, advocate violence, have multiple comments or posts removed, weaponize reports or violate the code of conduct will be banned.
All posts and comments will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. This means that some content that violates the rules may be allowed, while other content that does not violate the rules may be removed. The moderators retain the right to remove any content and ban users.

Republicans pay lip service to morality, but they will always, always fall in lockstep behind the party line. This won't pass.
Even if many individual GOP members of the house morally know it is the right thing to do, they will pragmatically choose to condemn the action instead because they are A) bribed B) blackmailed and C) threatened with violence D) all of the above.

The article of impeachment failed miserably. So many Democrats voted Nay. It was a complete waste of time.
