The protests have opposed ICE and interfered with their operations. The protests have a purpose and a goal, which is to help people avoid a chaotic mismanaged abuse of federal authority on immigration. All efforts by protesters should be to further people's safety and well-being.
Protesters should not attempt to "go to war" with the US military. You can't help anyone if you are dead.
