Next:they want to outlaw the moon.

[–] Lemminary@lemmy.world 3 points 2 days ago

They'll outlaw fake landings on the moon. Lol

How it used to be a fringe thing we can laugh at and dismiss, at a time when scientific documentaries were also entertaining and enlightening.

Next thing: "out law hurricanes" ...good luck with all that

Ok, what if, and hear me out, they are actually doing this to ban plans and force the reintroduction of, wait for it, trains!?

Nah, didn't think so either.

No fly zones! Gotta take a bus.

Better for the Environment. Now they need to end SpaceX.

States give privileges to things people do for their Invisible Friend, who's not real either. What are you gonna do?

Planes issue horrible chemicals that cause all kinds of issues. Carbon dioxide, nitrogen oxides, etc.

My understanding is that these bills would make that illegal. That's good.

These people think that jet contrails are like, mind control chemicals being sprayed by airplanes flying over. That's what they're trying to ban, something that isn't even happening.

[–] jagged_circle@feddit.nl 1 points 2 days ago (1 children)

I understand. But I'll take any climate improving legislation I can get.

[–] gallopingsnail@lemmy.sdf.org 2 points 2 days ago (3 children)

This legislation doesn't even do that.
