The other thing about greenhouse bananas is that there’s less risk of fungal infection. And if one greenhouse does fall to fungus, the greenhouse can be repurposed and bananas grown elsewhere.

Fruit bears? Is this company's name Haribo by chance?

I hope they grow Gros Michel bananas. These were the bananas that everyone ate until the crops were wiped out in the 50s by fungus. Artificial banana flavours always has more flavour and a richer taste than the common Cavendish banana. This flavour is mimicking the Gros Michel.

I've never had one, but they are still grown today but never in numbers for global export.

It's a problem to me if it make me feel full with one banana. I want to extend the taste pleasure for the longest posdible time

How else do you get the peel down?

Unrelated but during 2022 COVID times I was accosted by someone while in a supermarket, simply for performing the act of touching several bananas and not buying them (checking for brown spots).

They said "Why do you touch all the bananas with your bare hands!!"

I replied back as they walked away "Do you eat the peel as well as the fruit???"

Doesn't everyone just eat in like an apple?
