This is how people dress when things are looking up in the world.

How people dress in 2025.

If crosswalk lights told me to walk and don’t walk at the same, I’d look just as confused, too.

We are the breakers of the wind.

[–] redsand@lemmy.dbzer0.com 4 points 1 month ago

Infact I broke wind just now.

What if the climate is warming because Russians are the only people keeping the hot air at bay with their Adidas windbreaker tracksuits? Take that science!

Congrats, assholes. You broke it. The wind is gonna need at least 3 months to be repaired.

I wanna know what happened to all this clothing. I’ve been keeping an eye out at thrift stores for an old nba jacket or these colourful windbreakers but they never turn up

These thin plastic fabrics only last about 50 total hours in the sun before they start flaking into dust. Have you ever left a plastic tarp in the sun? It’s that material divided a thousand times thinner.

Neon Pastels peaked in the 80s but modernism trends took over as it was popular with more plain tastes as well as people who liked the high contrast of black and white.

The girls are breaking maximum wind. The boys can do better, fart jokes aside.

Are you kidding? Dad could have his jacket torn off by hurricane force winds and he'd still be rocking that hot pink T-shirt to block the rest of the storm.

And his son could survive a cold front on the north face of Everest with a hot jacket like that.

It's about those windbreaker jackets (edit: and pants actually), this style in particular was all the rage through the 80s.

That is the drippiest family I’ve seen. Look like hippie 80s skiiers.
