MODERATORS

People have been doing this work for years. This movement is a loose federation of groups, ranging from very organized to not organized. They have whatever capacity they have, and people are doing their best, many without much in the way of resources or experience. Meanwhile, every area has a variety of orgs doing activist work, many who have been around for quite a while (how far you are from towns and cities probably determines what you've got - and even then if you don't have political ones, you likely have veterans groups and farmer groups etc who might have an interest in defending against this).

If you are dissatisfied with the level of activity on your area, you can try to organize some yourself, but I urge you to just find and support groups that are already doing the work too. You don't have to start from scratch yourself and you shouldn't try to reinvent the wheel that someone is already using. You likely have some sort of immigrant rights organization near you where white people never come to anything. You likely have women's rights organizations, abortion funds, etc near you which do below the surface unglamorous work and nitty-gritty local and state political stuff.

The show of numbers that we see at these days of actions are just one piece of the puzzle. Instead of lamenting about that, go find the people who are already working on the other pieces, bring whoever you've convinced to protest with you to support what they are doing. And if they have not been engaged in the 50501 days of action, try to bring them into that to combine forces.
