Shoot that shit down. Don't let Russia play coy, they don't need another battle front right now

Please god I cannot wait for the polish to shoot down something Russian encroaching on their sovereignty.

The problem with Polish governments, both the far right PiS one as well as the current one, is that they act tough but there is no substance.

When a Russian military plane crossed into Turkish air space, it was shot down, there was a bit of posturing in the media but in the end Putin learned his lesson.

If they know Russia is probing, is it best to ignore it, so as not to tip their hand?

Russia: "They didn't even detect it!?"

No, they fuckin' saw it.

I get what you're saying but Russia isn't that dumb, they know they'd be detected.

It's best to wait a little to not give away your quickest possible response time, then send some aircraft up to politely escort them out.

This will also give your pilots some airtime so they can keep their flying hours topped up.

When dealing with normal governments, yes. When dealing with Russia, no. Russian plane crossing into Turkish airspace from Syria several years ago proved that. It was shot down immediately and there has been not a single infraction since.

Buy some old flak canons and start shooting. If one of them hit, yay. If not, they shat their pants and turned around and you didn't reveal anything about you real response.

Or just use them as live target training for your heavy machine gun crews. You don't have to prepare targets, the soldiers get training, you may shoot down a helicopter or scare some RuSSians and have just the cost of a couple of 50cal bullets. All around win in my book. Plus you'd be based as fuck if you actually shoot one down and they couldn't even argue it was a mistake, because the helicopter would have to be fairly close to be able to hit it

Kill the blyats.
