I went with a big sign that had a pitchfork on it, with the sign handle as the pitchfork handle, "Fork fascists" at the top. I'd also made small ones with card stock and popsicle sticks, handed them all out. "Get your pitchforks! Free pitchforks!"

People loved it.

Pick an emergency contact who will answer the phone if you call and who won't be arrested if you are

Write their number and your lawyers number on your arm in marker

If you get arrested, repeat that you're invoking your right to remain silent and that you need to talk to your lawyer

Before making any calls, find out where you are. If you're on the phone and your lawyer or friend says "where are you?" a cop won't tell you

Don't talk to police, but if you must, don't lie. They're allowed to lie and you're not

We’re not voting our way back to reasonable

Maybe grab some snacks and an extra chair if someone wants to talk with you. Bring a lot of water and have a bathroom picked out nearby.

If you’re not driving, maybe leave ID at home. If the cops come a knocking, be sure you know the ID laws for your area.

I can barely draw a straight line so I had mine printed at Fedex. It turned out pretty good.
