NGL I'd prefer that to Netflix

[–] Klear@lemmy.world 1 points 5 months ago (1 children)

Also I prefer the flowers to the pistol.

Exactly

It feels the right kind of welcoming with the flowers that's for sure

Your blood will replenish itself, but your privacy will be gone forever

There is no unlock origin for real life

Someone dressed like that would never go outside

[–] Brahvim@lemmy.kde.social 1 points 5 months ago* (last edited 5 months ago)

That is precisely how people spending too long in the creek would look like. "Outside" is not just "urban places", is it? :|

The big eyes though? Well, about that...

My grandfather owned a farmhouse out in Nebraska, and we'd go out to the "crick" and wade around in leech infested waters and get bit by mosquitos until sundown. Then we'd pick ticks off the farm dog and dread going to the bathroom because he had a rule "if it's yellow let it mellow, if it's brown flush it down"

He also ran a nudist colony in the desert in California during the winter months. Interesting man.

Crick is plenty cromulent, there's no need for the quotes

[–] BenFranklinsDick@lemmy.world 1 points 5 months ago

I'm gonna put "quotes" wherever I "damn" well please

You're not my "real" dad

Have fun. The water isn't supposed to be that color or smell by the way. Notice nothing lives in that water either. Even Beau miles won't kayak it. You do you though.

[–] GrammarPolice@lemmy.world 1 points 5 months ago

Are you sure the colour isn't just the reflection of the green in the forest?

Played in a creek. Didn't take shoes off. Was awesome, can recommend.

I love the mosses you have! And that looks like such a refreshing dip

Those shoes are gonna be slippery, wet and soggy the whole way back

[–] tissek@sopuli.xyz 1 points 5 months ago

Actually not. They quickly dried, took about 5-10 minutes while walking. Sure a little bit slippery at first but somehow that soon turned into even better (sticky) grip.
