I know if you look online right now Canadian sentiment toward Americans doesn't look great, but I wanted to assure you all:

Canada doesn't hate us; they hate our current "government".

I'm sure some Canadians have turned against Americans for voting for tRump, but I assure you the majority of Canada, like the rest of the world, is rooting for us to stop this.

The reason you're seeing more of the "fuck Americans" posts on Canadian subreddits is because the regime wants us to think they hate us to keep us demoralized.

Don't let them trick you!

I think we do.

The world is rooting for you to stop it. But you aren’t. And you chose it again with foreknowledge and history. And for the millionth time Americans don’t deserve worldwide recognition of their internal politics on the world stage.

United Russia isn’t killing Ukrainians, Russia is. Likud isn’t committing genocide, Israel is. The Republican Party isn’t threatening to annex Panama, Greenland, or Canada - America is. America is ruining the world economy at record pace and speed running world war and Americans sleep.

So it seems it’s desired considering the freedom available. And the weapons. And news stories about the weapons.
