Yes, unless you accept the risk of being banned. Every community and every server has its own set of rules.
You can usually safely ignore these rules, but if you get banned you don't have a leg to stand on if you didn't bother with reading the rules.
Damn RIP then if I got banned from .world after this post I am leaving Lemmy.
Just... don't make an issue of it? Apologize and delete some posts?
TBH lot of the internet has an "over 18" requirement somewhere in the ToS, for good reasons, and... yeah.
I have over 2000 posts. And I never hided the fact that I am a teenager.
Not all them, just the thread in the screenshot. With a little apology or something. See what happens.
