I can't see anywhere on the box it claims it's fun for the entire family. It's a two person game after all.
In fairness, you're right. I just spent a few minutes looking at higher resolution images of the box and it does not make that claim.
That said, the meme captures the spirit of an era pretty perfectly. I still think it hits the nail on the head.
