I'd limit my news to Canada only except your conservatives are kinda on the same track as we are.
Yes, the first thing Canadians can do to protect Canada is not vote Conservative. Unfortunately, Ontario doesn't seem to have figured that out yet.
I didn't vote for Douggie, but I have to hope he's as serious as he sounds about standing up to the US. I'm sure he'll probably take advantage of the situation in any way possible. I'd have rather seen him out though.

I'd say an equally large issue is that of people not voting in Ontario. The election last month saw our 2nd lowest turn out in recent history, with the lowest being the election before.
I'd love ranked choice, but I'd settle for proportional. Ontario's apathy towards voting due to "my vote won't matter" or "I don't like either option" is stupid and frustrating.
