Are people watching fox news in canada as well? Or is it twitter and facebook?

[–] el_muerte@lemm.ee 15 points 1 day ago

Yes to both. Also, Tiktok, Joe Rogan, and Jordan Peterson for the younger ones, and every newspaper being part of the American owned right wing Postmedia behemoth for the olds who still read the paper.

And Tiktok and youtube.

I hear people bring up the first and second amendment in Canada, they clearly have strong feelings about Rupert's Land and its governance.

If you have a different idea about something like how taxes should be spent, I can hear you out. If all you do is bring up points that don't apply to you from a different county, well, it's embarrassing for both of us.

Rural areas without cable get a lot of Fox news stations with strong signals. I remember growing in Leeds-Grenville it was like 1 CBC station vs 3 Fox stations on the antenna.

No wonder why the PCC wants to defund CBC.
