Give them a couple of years. I've seen the polls.

How come the Canadians got scared straight before the Germans did? If you want a paradoxical political outcome that's the one that jumps at me.

Actually, maybe I should wait for next week before counting those chickens. Wouldn't want to jinx it.

I think the Canadians got scared straight because their neighbor is directly out to get them and ruin their country. The danger is more pressing, immediate, and right at their back door.
