If this can be done and in place by the time it matters, I’m ALL for it. But if it’s going to be a bunch of nothing happening until three months before it matters, it’ll be FPTP in 2028. And that is If there’s an election to be had in 2028.
If that is the case, I sincerely hope everyone is prepared to do what’s necessary even if it means a less than ideal candidate. Because if we happen to be lucky enough to even have a 2028, we can all agree there won’t be another chance after that.
