Using “trans” as a noun breaks my brain every single time. The Right could really use a basic education.
It's on purpose. They're trying to avoid calling them people. Not illegal immigrants anymore, just illegals. Not trans people, just things. Yes, the implications of intentional dehumanization are horrific beyond imagination.
This is true for all the current halfwittery: 'ask' and 'spend' as well. People who say "the ask" need to get back on the car lot and chase that set of steak knives.
