“When you post or talk about him, don’t assign his actions to him, assign them to ‘The Republican Administration,’ or ‘the Republicans,’” Bernice King (MLK's daughter) said.

“The Republican legislators will either have to take responsibility for their association with him or stand up for what some of them don’t like,” the King Center CEO added. “[Trump] will not get the focus or attention he craves. Republican representatives will become very concerned about their re-elections.”

Don't make this about Trump.

Think about the Nazis. When he's finally out of office, all the Republicans that propped him up and could have ended this at any time will pretend they were "just following orders," being intimidated into doing what Trump wanted, or fleeing to Argentina (probably Russia this time).

Every Republican elected official wearing a red hat needs to be held accountable.

I disagree. Its all about MAGA and HitlerPig.

We are going to need the Traditional GOP to side with the Dems if we are to crush and purge MAGA from the government and society.

In WWII, we knew what an absolute mass murdering monster Stalin was, but we needed his help to destroy Germany, and he needed us for the same thing. So we held our noses, and made a temporary unholy alliance to advance the only common interest we had. Afterwards, we immediately went back to being bitter enemies.

The Traditional GOP still exists, they're just dormant. Republicans are abject cowards at their core, and are afraid of everything, and right now they are most afraid of MAGA. The enemy of my enemy is my friend, and if the Dems showed some spine, and the willingness to commit to bold leadership and action, and the Trad GOP became more afraid of HitlerPig/ MAGA than working with Dems, we could form a temporary alliance with the Trad GOP to bring down MAGA, and then they could go back to being their normal level of shitheads.

I'm sorry but at this point 'traditional Republicans' are indistinguishable from 'MAGA.'

You're giving them the exact out we're talking about.

"Oh that wasn't me. I was just a powerless SENATOR caught in the crossfire."

All Republicans are complicit at this point. Many democrats as well.

Now, if they don't want to be seen that way by history, they know what they have to do. And a few of them are starting to fight back.

Your last paragraph is what Im encouraging to happen. There is a Traditional GOP, they just have to stay hidden because they feel isolated and scared. They know how evil MAGA is, they hear them saying the worst stuff behind closed doors that we dont hear (but still know their intentions). In addition, they have bought into their own propaganda that the Dems want to kill all of them. Right now, there isn't an environment where they feel safe enough to fight back.

If the Dems made it clear that they'd be willing to work with the Trad GOP, they might find them receptive, especially after these tariffs hit, and they start getting savaged by their REPUBLICAN constituents.

They have to keep the back channels open, and we might not even hear about it, until they start making their moves.

I intend to let my non-MAGA Republican senators know that I will suppprt them when they finally make their move. Plant the seed that there is support for a temporary alliance to crush MAGA.
