The more i learn about them, the more I wonder how they tolerate the extraness forced into everything by virtue of who they are and what their compulsions make them believe they need

It all sounds so exhausting and like being on stage all day every day

This is like asking if someone is tired of their OCD, or their BPD. People with actual mental health issues aren't choosing their behavior for the day like a coat, it's something they struggle with constantly.

It is and it isnt. There has to be people with technical NPD who found ways to be less "them"

Like how BPD have Dialectical Behaviour Therapy to help them tone things down and improve social functioning
