"This giant bubble on the island of Sardinia holds 2,000 tonnes of carbon dioxide. But the gas wasn’t captured from factory emissions, nor was it pulled from the air. It came from a gas supplier.... "The facility compresses and expands CO2 daily in its closed system, turning a turbine that generates 200 megawatt-hours of electricity, or 20 MW over 10 hours."

sure they do, why do you think they're buying lithium mines? they love mining resources because it encourages the "infinite growth" feedback loop to keep going

For 30 years I watched the fossils downplaying, lying about, covering-up the facts about free solar energy ('oh that'll never work'), wind ('oh that'll never work) and other green tech. Now they see the writing on the wall, and they're buying because that's the way the wind blows ... because They're rapacious motherfuckers, and never have enough money. They started in the US cutting down all the ancient forests, they'll forever rape whatever looks like dollars.

And wave power, which can complement wind and solar power. It is great because the endless ocean surface is the energy storage - transporting energy through time - , and at the same time transports energy through space.

Look up the Pelamis wave energy converter. Bought by E.ON , a fossil company. Then, E.ON killed the project.

Now, apparently the Chinese have copied it and are building it. What a grim joke.

Or maybe China was involved, too, in killing the project? I don't know.
