If he did, why the hell would they go through all the trouble of claiming the tapes were lost, then releasing obviously doctored footage, and putting out some shitty animation passed as the real thing? Seems like it would have been unnecessary.
I believe he was on suicide watch. The prison guards would have been implicated as complicit if the whole thing was on camera.
Well, yeah. He was on suicide watch, but also right before he was to testify, just happened he was given a bit of time where the prison guards left him alone, and the tapes “stopped” recording. Assisted or not that’s at best negligence and coincidence, at worst actively complicit and planned.
Suicide vs assisted suicide?
I’d think so too. I doubt he had much choice in the matter.
To try and seem not as incompetent as they are. He was supposed to be on suicide watch
