Idiot conservatives never figured out the truth about Santa Clause.
He's real, of course. Very real. But in the sense that an idea is real. Like time, or money... he's something we give value to because of our collective agreement.
Santa is the lesson of gratitude. Its doing good things because it feels good to do them, and not expecting anything in return.
We are all Santa, and we all agree to use this personification to help kids grasp ncreasingly foreign concepts...altruism, benevolence, agape.

These fuckers will go watch all these Christmas movies about self sacrifice for their fellow man/spreading joy and comfort and turn around to do this.
It’s not that they haven’t figured it out. It’s that they don’t think certain people are worthy of that same treatment because they were born somewhere else.
Imagine if a pregnant teenage girl and her much older baby-daddy traveled from another country and asked these people for shelter in their barn.
I don't think it would go well. They'd probably get shot for knocking on the door, or they'd want a turn rolling in the hay with Mary.
