I keep forgetting you guys in the US don't have free access even to dental care.
Like, of this meme only the two left panels make sense in most of Europe, and only because the waiting lists for therapy places is rather long.
That's right. "Health insurance" here in the US doesn't cover eyes or teeth! Those are luxury body parts that you don't REALLY need to live.
Edit: Well... TECHNICALLY both of them would be covered if you choked on one, for example. Or maybe if you caught a stick through the eye into your prefrontal cortex. But vision, reconstruction, and really anything to do with teeth while they are attached to your skull parts is not covered.
