You know what's nice? She gets down to his level to talk to him.
I realized this hack early with kids. It's way less intimidating to them and they are way cooler about it.
I think I actually learned this from South Park in the episode where Cartman's Mom tries to find him a baby sitter that can handle him. Cartman emotionally traumatizes them off course but I loved that the show takes little moments to teach things like that.
Is that the episode with Cesar Milan? I'm not saying his techniques won't work for children, but...
Hell, I lay down on the ground all the time with my nephews, and it immediately triggered their lil gremlin brain to climb all over me as I’m the monster.
