I realized this hack early with kids. It's way less intimidating to them and they are way cooler about it.

I think I actually learned this from South Park in the episode where Cartman's Mom tries to find him a baby sitter that can handle him. Cartman emotionally traumatizes them off course but I loved that the show takes little moments to teach things like that.
