how real is this? I just finished watching Bugonia and it feels like the very same plot.
Usually when you search for a headline you'll find the article, or links to the article. I couldn't even find this article.
However, a similar memed article went viral with the headline "Florida man kidnaps scientist to make his dog immortal", and that one also did not originate from an actual news article, but a badly labeled meme site. https://checkyourfact.com/2024/07/10/fact-check-florida-man-kidnapping-scientist-dog-immortal/
Whenever you see a post on the internet with a mugshot and a random bizarre headline it is always false.
