Make it a one way trip for him please..

Also, he's not allowed to take his money and assets with him, leave and disperse those assets for the rest of the people here.

He can go dig for his own gold and shit and establish his own worthless economy on his dead rock if he wants, assuming he would even survive...

Mom I want a planet to destroy. We have a perfectly good planet to destroy at home. The planet we have at home:

His father probably asked him "why just limit yourself to just one?" I mean... he's racked up the offspring, so why not destroy every possible option of a place for them to live?

[–] superduperenigma@lemmy.world 8 points 1 day ago

Most of his offspring fucking hate him.

and no communication devices, cameras or things like that. I don't want to hear from him again.

Can we blow up the ship halfway and call it an oopsie?

[–] SeductiveTortoise@piefed.social 4 points 16 hours ago (1 children)

Or just land it several thousand kph faster than planned.

Show kph but use mph might do the trick

As I understand it, There's no way with current technology for a trip to Mars to be a round trip thing really. It's a one and done.

Mars colonization was intended for the first settlers to settle. Not return.

[–] CheeseNoodle@lemmy.world 3 points 14 hours ago

Technically we totally could, if you can ship 1 kilogram to mars you can ship a spaceship to mars capable of getting back with enough un-manned trips in advance. Economically feasable however it is not.

money and assets with him

The money is of no use on Mars, and billionaires can't relocate many of their assets anyway

[–] raspberriesareyummy@lemmy.world 3 points 22 hours ago

Let "it" take the money along, it will be of no use there and won't be available on the market here, if anything, it might counter inflation for a week or two to remove it from Earth.

Let me introduce you to a show called, For All Mankind. It's on Apple TV here in Europe, not sure about the rest of the world.

Spoiler: you get exactly your wish.
