8. Misinformation is prohibited.
Misinformation / propaganda is strictly prohibited. Any comment or post containing or linking to misinformation will be removed. If you feel that your post has been removed in error, credible sources must be provided.
9. No link shorteners.
The auto mod will contact you if a link shortener is detected, please delete your post if they are right.
10. Don't copy entire article in your post body
For copyright reasons, you are not allowed to copy an entire article into your post body. This is an instance wide rule, that is strictly enforced in this community.

Every single day it's that fucker again. I'm from Europe, technically he shouldn't have any direct impact on my life and be an occasional footnote about what's going on on the other continent. And yet here we are, day after day wondering how much better the whole world could have been off if only one jerk had had slightly better aim.
As someone who is in most ways affect by Trump and Elon's destroying of the federal government (on Social Security disability, on Medicaid, in HUD public housing -- all federally funded) I HAVE to pay attention to this stuff thanks to my anxiety and not wanting to be surprised when I'm homeless or in some camp.
My therapist has to constantly remind me to not spend so much time looking at news but god damn this is fucking frightening. I wish I had the option to be able to tune this craziness out.
I fucking hate this... I get that they really don't have any response to, "my country is being dismantled by fascists in front of me and there is nothing I can do about it," but burying your head in the sand is not the answer.
