Thought experiment:

If the world was going to get reconfigured in 2026 for maximum benefit to people with ADHD, what would it look like?

Recently diagnosed. Why no overhead lighting?

It’s slightly tongue-in-cheek, there’s some correlation with light sensitivity due to sensory processing issues, but this is not true for everyone of course. There’s a special hate for the “cool white” lighting among those with light sensitivity. Here’s an example of light temps — you can hyperfixate down a heck of a rabbit hole with this stuff. I like a nice 4500k-5700k around the house because it simulates daylight.

Ah ok. All the LEDs I buy for home lightning are 3000-3500 (or RGB) but for my workshop and some other projects I use 6500-ish.
