Oh. Ok. What if we started hanging the coast guard, and leaving nooses on their ships.
Would they consider them symbols of hate then?
The noose can only be a symbol of two things. Suicide, or hate. I start to devalue anyones opinion when they stop having empathy for hate crimes until it happens to "their" people.
And the swastika? Explain how thats NOT a symbol of hate.

Technically the swastika is a religious symbol that was appropriated by the Nazis for hate. It's still used today by Buddhism to represent the divine.

But no, i very much doubt that's what they're thinking about.
Actually, if you want to go down that route, you have to flip the swastika, like a mirror.
I believe both directions have been used in different cultures. Don't quote me on that one though.
