- Articles must be relevant to politics. Links must be to quality and original content. Articles should be worth reading. Clickbait, stub articles, and rehosted or stolen content are not allowed. Check your source for Reliability and Bias here.
- Be civil, No violations of TOS. It’s OK to say the subject of an article is behaving like a (pejorative, pejorative). It’s NOT OK to say another USER is (pejorative). Strong language is fine, just not directed at other members. Engage in good-faith and with respect! This includes accusing another user of being a bot or paid actor. Trolling is uncivil and is grounds for removal and/or a community ban.
- No memes, trolling, or low-effort comments. Reposts, misinformation, off-topic, trolling, or offensive. Similarly, if you see posts along these lines, do not engage. Going forward, slapfights will result in removed comments and temp bans to cool off.
- Vote based on comment quality, not agreement. This community aims to foster discussion; please reward people for putting effort into articulating their viewpoint, even if you disagree with it.
- No hate speech, slurs, celebrating death, advocating violence, or abusive language. This will result in a ban. Usernames containing racist, or inappropriate slurs will be banned without warning

That's all the rules!

I'm still waiting for someone to explain to me how Trump will face repercussions for these crimes when he hasn't for any other crimes. Who is going to prosecute him? What is the plan if the files prove he committed heinous crimes? Since he's clearly immune to all consequences of crimes, I think he's more concerned about people thinking he's gay
IF anything happens to him, it will be because he has eroded the trust of his conspiracy theorist cult by trying to cover up his pedophilia more than the pedophilia itself. A lot of his power is derived from his cult, which the Republicans are terrified of alienating. If he loses enough of their support, Republicans won't be so hell-bent on protecting him at all costs. It's a big "if."
I don't see hiw him losing supporters is going to matter. It isn't like there's an election coming up. He said, if you vote for him you'll never have to vote again. He doesn't need the support of the people now that he's already in power
Ah, but he does, because Republicans who do need their support to stay in power look to them when deciding to bend over to Dear Leader. None of them actually like him. He's only immune from consequences because Republicans allow it. If enough of his cult turned on him, they would as well. Not saying it's going to happen, only that it's a possibility.
