I'm not sure what I'm going to say, but I think you're wrong. What they are going to do is not a law; Congress does more and has more authority than just legislate. If I'm not mistaken, the idea is to give a direct order to the Justice Department to release the files; they don't need to go to the Senate or through Trump's office. That's why they're so nervous in the government; otherwise, what would be the point of seeing Trump acting crazy about it?

Lol, it's a bill dude. That's how bills work. The bill is called The Epstein Files Transparency Act. There is nothing special about this bill that would make it go straight from the House to the Justice Department. It still has to go through the Senate and be signed into law by the president before it takes effect.

You fell for the bait. And I get it, you're probably scrambling now, looking up the actual reality of the situation going "No... No, that can't be right... If that was how it worked then all this would be meaningless, and if this is all meaningless then why would every news site and social media board be talking about it as if it wasn't? People would have to be complete, ignorant, fucking idiots for that to be the case..."

And now you know why I'm going bald.

And now you know why I'm going bald.

With how baldness-inducing this mess is even from the other side of the world, I express my sincere condolences for your hairline.

Even if they did override the Trump veto, now that he's directed Bondi and the DOJ to investigate only Democrats named in the Epstein leaks, they can easily say that the materials can't be turned over due to an ongoing investigation.

I'm not going to look for anything; you say it with such conviction that I simply believe you. I wasn't sure either, as I already told you, and in any case, we'll all know for sure after the vote.

Anyway, I imagined something like a Senate inquiry committee requesting information from the Department of Justice or something equivalent. I suppose they don't need anyone for that; the DOJ would be obligated to respond to that request, right?

Vibe-arguing is a bonkers debate tactic, I like it
