I dont see how it could be plausible, given the photo apparently predates gen AI
That’s not how plausible deniability works. They create a tool that can make highly realistic graphics and then claim the real photos, when released, are just AI slop.
That doesn't matter to the right, as long as they have something they can lie about they will
Because there’s no way to fake the data that determines a photos age?…. or they just refute any chain of custody with regards to any actual photos. The conservatives would just scream fake or AI regardless of the actual truth and that would be the end of it.
How can you tell if a photo you see predates generative AI? Anyone can slap a "2009-10-15" in the metadata
I mean, there's not really any way to prove that
