Rocking my iPhone 11 Pro Max with OG battery.
Reckon I can get through easy until the 18 or the Fold.
No idea what you’re talking about.
Ha same, I keep saying I’ll upgrade next generation and it’s always underwhelming. Especially now that they’ve been huffing their own farts about ai. My battery capacity is at 70% of what it originally had what’s yours at?
82% and it gets me through the day no issues!
They’re referring to an old controversy that was a mixture of bad decisions and conspiracy. They’ve now linked an article to the outcome of it. I won’t cover the whole thing but Apple “let slip” and “admitted” to slowing down old phones. This obviously feeds into the planned obsolescence conspiracies but at the time it wasn’t exactly hidden, Apple (one of their higher ups though I can’t think of who) said they were doing it.
The real issue was that it wasn’t implemented without transparency. The point is the device underclocks to prevent unexpected shut downs which makes it slower as a trade off for stability. Devices still do this, but it’s now shown in the settings and warns that the battery needs replacing.
Iphone 5 had this problem, also ipad mini 1
No, you see you aren’t using technology the right way.
You need to hate Apple and instead buy a product that isn’t as good to stick it to them, then you can complain about this stuff with everyone else.
