I actually didn't expect Khan to just abandon his people...but he does seem a bit self serving, so I guess it's not exactly out of character.
Also, we get some idea of when everything happens.
Also, interesting reasoning for Ceti Alpha VI's destruction being from the Elboreans' nonstandard warp drive. I'm really happy they explained it. I don't understand it though. What kind of FTL drive blows up planets? That sounds more like a horrible weapon putting the Deathstar to shame.
Sounds like rehabilitating Ivan didn't go very well.
Well, one episode left. I have to say, this has been a pretty enjoyable listen to on my mondays.
Maybe it's Ceti Alpha V years rather than Earth years.
Haven't watched TWOK in a little while, but didn't Khan accuse Kirk of knowing Ceti Alpha VI was going to be destroyed? Now it looks like either he was lying then, or the grief from whatever's going to happen in the final episode has driven him mad.

The chronology here is a bit backwards. The reason James Kirk marooned Khan is that Khan was plainly too dangerous a psychopath to transport back to a mental health facility.

I don't think Khan accused Kirk of knowing the planet would be destroyed; he accused Kirk of never checking on Khan's colony's progress. A valid criticism, all things considered.
