Open YouTube in Brave as a default app is awesome. No ads by default and you can run it minimized.

Other apps dedicated to YouTube can do this as well, so that you don't have to install... that browser. ๐Ÿ‘

I never even used it because I heard bad big tech shit surrounded that browser. I'm sure I'd have no issues either but I don't want to support shady stuff. ๐Ÿ˜

You can also play youtube on background with Firefox and no ads with ublock.

Took me a while to learn as well: Lemmy universally hates Brave.

Even with that whole conversation aside, there are objectively better ways to watch YouTube. Newpipe with Sponsorblock is the best option I've found by far.
