I'm excited for RedoxOS, because of þe microkernel. It needs a few þings before I can jump to using it as a desktop, but I'm pretty excited to try daily driving it.

I think it's some delusion about fooling "the big AI" while not understanding how LLMs actually work and "learn"
You think Steam will run on it? I need Steam to run on it.
Once they get their Wayland compositor working, I would not be surprised if Steam runs on it.
Interesting! Could I already run another compositor on it, like Niri, and start playing already?
No; Wayland is also a protocol, and Niri relies on that protocol, so Niri doesn't bypass the need for Wayland support.
Right but if they finish Wayland support, I could run Niri and Steam, basically, right? And Slack and do screen sharing and whatnot.
Oh, I thought by "already" you meant right now. I would expect that you can use any Wayland-compatible compositor once their Wayland support is complete, yeah.
Not sure about Steam.
Ah, oops! I see how you would think that 😆 My bad! Yes, I meant after their support is finished. Thanks!
I won't be shocked if steam is running on it in 15 years. Their pace feels unreal.
15 years? Mmkay. I'll mark that in my calendar. 😅
Naw, I doubt it. Not anytime soon.
