9. No link shorteners.
The auto mod will contact you if a link shortener is detected, please delete your post if they are right.
10. Don't copy entire article in your post body
For copyright reasons, you are not allowed to copy an entire article into your post body. This is an instance wide rule, that is strictly enforced in this community.

Come on dude, there is no left and right. It's just us. Kirk had opinions that many of us didn't like, that's fine. We can all still muster some empathy for the guy and his family. No one deserves to get get shot for expressing opinions, even bad one opinions.

Kirk and his far right friends are stripping my, and all other queer people's right, hunting down anyone that looks Mexican or speaks Spanish and deporting them, or worse. There are fucking concentration camps being built. There absolutely is a left and right.
Yeah, I would have preferred he learn the error of his ways and change his mind to become a decent person. but either way, he can no longer spread his hate, and I'm not complaining about that.

Sincerely, I'd like to know what queer rights have been stripped. I don't have my fingers on the pulse of all the various policy changes that have been going on, so I am genuinely curious.
I challenge you to go out and talk to your friends and family. Ask them if they consider themselves left wing or right wing. And then have them define what left wing or right wing means to them. I guarantee you you will not get the same answer twice.
As a trans person, I can't go to the bathroom aligning with my gender in some states, and going to the other bathroom can get my assaulted or worse. Trump made getting a passport with my correct gender marker tricky, if not impossible. Trans minors can't receive any healthcare related to being trans. They have already been talking about repealing the right for same sex marriage. just the other day some right wing lunatic was talking about detaining all trans people and "studying" us, but you that just means torture and killing us. (That last one was some nobody, but it still somehow made news and was posted on Lemmy.)

I don't need to talk with my friends and family about their political beliefs, we do that regularly. I know where my friends and family stand. Some of them are not as far left as I am, but everyone I regularly choose to spend time with hates what's happening now.

Ok, so your initial claim was 'Stochastic terrorism'. Essentially saying that he was using coded language to hide his calls to violence. Now you're saying his words and actions were direct call to violence? Which case are you trying to make here? If he made direct calls for violence, he should have been arrested and charged with inciting violence. The laws are quite clear on this one.
