Mildly Interesting

This is for strictly mildly interesting material. If it's too interesting, it doesn't belong. If it's not interesting, it doesn't belong.

This is obviously an objective criteria, so the mods are always right. Or maybe mildly right? Ahh.. what do we know?

Just post some stuff and don't spam.

My Buff Orpington laid this one yesterday. She often lays "oddly" textured ones but this is the weirdest by far.

Lemmy see if i can find some pic i took a few years ago. Gonna edit this comment in a minute.

Here ya go. This was laid by a fully grown chicken that usually laid completely normal eggs.
Comparing against my hand this thing was something like 3.5cm long.

What's it like living with low-resolution hands?

Its very easy to cut yourself on the sharp edges but you learn to live with it.

One of our (Brahma) chickens lays eggs like this. She also walks with a limp.

Fingerprints... because we live in a society sadly :(

O! We have one that occasionally lays tiny eggs as well. I'm not sure which one it is because they share nesting boxes but a tiny egg shows up about once a month.

These ones were free to walk around the farm but they always returned to their own specific nest box at night :)
