No, they showed this exact image, and read the letter word for word. The next night they even had quotes from trump saying "I don't draw, I wish I could draw, but I don't draw".

Then they cut to a 2005 clip of him promoting the apprentice, and he draws a womans figure that was sitting on his lap. The 2005 drawing looked erily similar to the one you're seeing here, and the joke was "You say you couldn't draw THIS but here you are on video in 2005 doing exactly the same thing."

Then he tried claiming thats not his signature. So they pulled his signature from publically available documents that he signed in his first term. Same signature.
