I never buy vodka but went to today and just out of curiosity checked where it's made. Well, it turns out it's made in the US in my (Irish) supermarket at least so yours may be the same.

I bought Finlandia instead.

Smirnoff is bottom of the barrel garbage anyways.

What would you recommend? I'm not a vodka person generally. Got Finlandia today.

I'm not much of a vodka person either, but having attended my share of college parties, I know that Smirnoff is the cheap stuff you get when you're just looking to get plastered and don't care about quality.

I know they're not quite the same, but being in Ireland I'm sure there's tons of options for some quality poitin, if you want to make sure the money stays local.

Grey goose is a bit overpriced. I recommend Sky. Despite the image, itโ€™s very decent.

Skyy? Isnโ€™t it US as well?

I donโ€™t know where it is from. Last I drank it was years ago.

I always buy Iceberg Vodka but that might only be available in Canada, Iโ€™m not sure. If you do see it on your shelf though, itโ€™s made in Canada.

Good enough for me. Elbows up Canuck friend.
