Today I learned Trump is a Liberal.
Hmmmmmm, I wonder if there’s anybody in this story that might fit the bill of Liberal, leaving Trump to represent Fascism. Nah, I failed my first grade reading class, but I’m pretty confident there isn’t.
Liberals would rather lose to outright fascism than win on an actually progressive platform and that isn't being hyperbolic at all, it is the brutal reality dooming this country to a very dark future.
Comment I was responding to.
And Trump is the fascist in that story. The liberals are democrats who are intent on trying to lose elections if that alternative is a progressive wins.
Good job repeating the words you failed to properly comprehend, I guess...
Good job keeping the purity tests going.
I mean, that worked so well in the last few elections.
Please learn what a purity test means.
Your lack of reading comprehension doesn't apply here.
Please learn how to win some elections
Mamdani is talking about the issues, not making personal attacks or name calling.
Be like the guy you like.
Anyone who claims they're changing their vote because someone pointed out how they misunderstood something they read on the Internet, already wasn't voting that way...
..."It was this way when I got here"?
You lost the election with this strategy, and you're still preaching from a high horse?
The issue is that liberals are right wing but pretend to care about left wing causes, but the mask has fell off and no one with any critical thinking skills still buys their bullshit narrative.
The issue is that liberals (neo-liberals, really) are horrified of actual progressive policy and will attack and do their best to undermine any progressive candidate even if it means republicans win, because the republican's politics is more aligned with theirs.
Why do you blame those to your left for god awful neoliberal candidates getting clobbered in elections? How many times do you need to see a status quo liberal get pummeled before you realize that no one is buying what they are selling?
It's funny.
My comment about Mamdani winning by taking the high road and not being divisive is getting down voted.
I guess purity is more important than winning the election.
No, your comment about trump being a liberal is getting downvoted, then the weird stuff after
Cuomo did get an endorsement from Bill Clinton though.
Plus Cuomo is running as an independent. Not sure how dems have anything to do with this article.
He is running as independent, because he lost in primaries and is double dipping.
He supposedly identified himself as a Democrat but now it is clear that it was for the convenience.
I'm wondering if there will be Democrats that would vote on him after being backed by trump?
Didn't he also implicated Cuomo in Maxwell's interview?
The comment didn't mention Democrats. It mentioned liberals.
I'm not going to play the adjective game.
Your objection to the comment was that Cuomo is not running as a Democrat. The comment didn't say he was. It made a point about liberals, which is relevant if Cuomo is a liberal. You replied that he's not a Democrat, but that's not relevant since he is still a political liberal. So it's not just an "adjective game". It's acknowledging that liberalism is a political ideology rather than a political party, and that the problems of liberalism extend beyond registered Democrats. It's important globally too: liberalism is problematic everywhere, whereas the Democratic Party exists only in the USA. Whatever a politician's party, if they subscribe to liberalism their politics are going to problematic in the ways liberalism always is.
From that Wikipedia link:
How about the noun game?
Why aren't any gogh profile Democrats condemning him for running as an independent, subverting the Democratic primary that was held? Why are no high profile Democrats endorsing the Progressive winner of the Democratic Primary in the largest coty on the country? Why does "Vote Blue No Matter Who™" only apply to progressives when their candidate loses, and not centrist Dems when their candidate loses?
Here is his endorsement page. Many are high profile dems.

Weird, because neither Demeocrtic heads of Congress are on that list despite living in NYC.
What is your definition of high profile democrats? Is it Independent Bernie Sanders who the DNC has repeatedly shown is not welcome at the table?
