Yeah I've spoken to enough young people who watched the prequels first that I no longer begrudge them their nostalgia.
I just don't share it, and that's ok. I'd rather define myself by what I enjoy than what I turn my nose up at.
Speaking of, have you heard the good word of Andor?? It's the best thing to happen to Star Wars since greebles!!!

the OT, i love it, i grew up on it, it has some really naff bits in it. XD this just IS Star Wars. the cornball stuff was baked in from the beginning.
