Christianity also says we have one shot - then we either eat shit in hell if we effed up or find oyrselves in haven...whatever it means.

But back to the topic - most folk know this, but this raises one bad idea - if it's only as good as you make it, why care for others? Make them stepping stones for your benefit.

Yeah I just watched some prominent Christian leader try to explain to people why they won't be sad if their family members or children go to hell when they go to heaven and it was about the most paradoxical, delusional, miserable performance to explain something that's obvious bullshit that I've seen in years, and I've been around a few.

It's an exercise in delusion, that's my point. If you can delude yourself about one part of a belief system, you can do whatever gymnastics you want to get your perfect outcome where you never have to worry about the world you leave behind. It's far, far more dangerous and has caused far, far more suffering on this planet than any other belief or thinking system.
