Any major downsides to switching to Floorp from Librewolf? (lemmy.world)

I plan to whitelist sites that I want to save cookies as I do in Librewolf. Is Floorp much less secure than Librewolf? I'd really like the improved JPEG XL support that Floorp has.

Floorp is generally solid but has less hardening than Librewolf - it's more focused on features than extreme privacy, but still way better than standard Firefox for security since it disables telemetry and has decent defaults.
