If Republicans could feel shame I’m sure they’d be very upset
Anyone with integrity, morals, or even a backbone was pushed out many years ago.
My grandfather, who took a pistol off a dead Nazi doctor in the 14th Armored Division, quit the Republican Party when they had those Purple Heart Band Aids.
I guess if you get one after waking up under the body of your dead friend you don’t get the joke.
Yeah, that was when the myth of the "liberal" media should have been permanently put down, along with the GOP, but nah, the MSM dutifully "both sides" it and so many (most?) veterans had zero problem with it. That was when the (D) party should have had its real 'Houston, we have a problem' moment, and started fighting the metastasizing problem of right-wing/fascist propaganda that gets merely parroted by the rest of the MSM, but alas, they did fuck-all while it just got worse and worse and worse.
But not upset with themselves, upset that society hadn't lowered the bar far enough for them to not feel shame for their actions.
