After surviving the Southport stabbings, Leanne Lucas launched the "Let's Be Blunt" campaign, calling for safer, rounded-tip kitchen knives instead of pointed ones.

Just feels so short-sighted. There are plenty of other sharp objects in the world. Someone motivated to get a weapon is unlikely to just give up because kitchen knives are round tipped

After low hanging jeans, the new fashion style filtering out from jails to public will be sharpened toothbrush shivs. But hey, at least your kitchen knives will be nice and round tipped.

Also the round tip can just be sharpened to a point. Or the round tip could be broken off at an angle, likely creating a point.
